About me

My name is Marta Repina. I am a certified Gestalt psychotherapist with a specialisation in trauma work. I work online with adults, teenagers aged 13+ and couples in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English.

For me therapy is a subtle, deeply individual path towards knowing yourself. I have walked it myself and seen that it really does change the quality of life for the better. That is why I am glad to share this path with you.

I have been in this profession for more than four years. In that time I have worked successfully with clients with very different requests, from anxiety and burnout to trauma and difficulties in relationships.

Before my own practice I worked as a crisis psychologist at the Marcus Foundation charity, supporting people in the most acute states.

Without judgement

As a therapist I am very careful and steady. With me you can bring whatever you are, speak about what is hard and not fear judgement. You can warm yourself against me — heard and seen.

Everything socially unacceptable can be brought to me. I work without judgement and with respect for each person's individuality, and I am LGBTQ+-friendly. We can explore difficult experiences without ready-made verdicts or imposed decisions. My task is to be nearby so that you can hear yourself more clearly.

What I help with

You don't need to know the exact name for what you're going through — just describe how you feel.

Emotional burnout

Fatigue, apathy, loss of meaning and energy — when what you loved no longer nourishes you.

Personal crisis

Transitions, hard decisions, feeling stuck and losing your usual support.

Anxiety

Constant tension, waves of panic, insomnia, a body that won't let go.

Self-esteem

The inner critic, self-doubt and constantly comparing yourself with others.

Identity and values

Searching for the answer to “who am I”, a deeper understanding of yourself and of what truly matters to you.

Parent–child relationships

Relationships with your parents: separation, expectations, old hurt, guilt.

Partner, family and romantic relationships

Closeness and distance, trust, the roles and rules inside a family, the conversations you couldn't start.

Trauma work

Specialised trauma therapy: gently, at your pace, with support.

Eating disorders

One of the frequent requests: together we build a healthy, caring relationship with food and your body.

Suicidal thoughts

I work with people experiencing suicidal thoughts — without judgement, without rush, with respect for the pain.

LGBTQ+ clients

Support for LGBTQ+ people in a safe space where you don't have to prove anything.

Body and illness

Support for people with somatic diagnoses (cancer, HIV/AIDS, etc.), people with disabilities and older adults.

This is not an exhaustive list. I don't like to limit my work to a fixed set of requests: life changes, and often one question stands on top of many other experiences. Write to me and we'll work out together what lies behind yours.

How I work

In my practice I listen a lot and focus on your deeper experiences. I use humour, creative methods and provocative questions that help you see the situation in a new way.

Deep listening

A space where you are finally heard to the end — no instant advice

Focus on depth

We work with real experiences, not only symptoms

Humour and creativity

Creative methods and lightness where they fit

Provocative questions

Questions that help you see things from a new angle

FAQ

Are our sessions confidential?

Yes. Everything you share stays between us — it is a core ethical principle of my work.

How do sessions work?

Online, via video call. All you need is a stable connection and a quiet place.

Who do you work with?

Adults, teenagers aged 13+ and couples — including LGBTQ+ couples.

What language can we speak?

Ukrainian, Russian or English — choose whichever is easiest for you to think in.

How long does therapy last?

It depends on your request: some come for a few sessions, others for months. We decide together and can always revisit.

Can we meet in person?

No — I work online only, and it is just as alive and safe. You need a stable connection and a place where you won't be disturbed.
